A color photograph of young calves. In an article about Womonworld for Sinister Wisdom Shewolf says, "Sandy [my girlfriend] and I bottle fed [some 4-week old calves] until they got on grain. When they were big enough, three, four months old, they were ready for slaughter." When they got back the meat, they found they could not eat it and gave it all away. "We raised Black Angus for about six years, for breeding. But we ended up with a bunch of baby Black Angus bulls" that they sold to the county agent. She "never slaughtered any more of my cattle."
