A color photograph of a single-story house at Shewolf's Womonworld. Womonworld was 100 acres of land that Shewolf bought over a 20-year period from her father when he retired in 1969. "When I retired, I owned it!" she told Barbara Esrig, in an interview in 2013. There was a house on the land, "an old Jim Walter house that my dad had started for my brother and his wife before they decided they didn't want to live there. It never got finished, but my whole family had worked on it. The land, this house, and the barn, that was it." The whole interview is online at the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture, where the Southern Lesbian Feminist Activist Herstory Project (SLFAHP) interviews are archived.
