Description

Virginia Liggett Suttle (19??-1998), a music major, graduated from Newcomb College in 1936. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Music from Louisiana State University in 1941. While at Newcomb, Virginia was involved in Chi Omega, the Glee Club, and Newcomb's Little Symphony. In this interview with Beth Willinger, Virginia discusses memories from her time at Newcomb and her life since. Virginia's husband, Harold Suttle, and Kathy Smither, the Director of the Newcomb Alumnae Association, chime in throughout the interview.
