Jeanne Foster graduated from Newcomb College in 1963 with a BA in Philosophy. She earned an MA in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin (1965), an M.Div. in Ministry from Starr King School, GTU in Berkeley (1982), and a Ph.D. in Arts Literature and Religion from Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. Jeanne is author of numerous books and a professor of English and creative writing. She was a Visiting Poet-in-Residence at Tulane University during the fall of 2004. In 2013, she was a Professor of Creative Writing and Literature at Saint Mary's College, Moraga, California.

A discussion with Ethelyn Bringier Everett Verlander and Carolyn Elsa Robbert Davis, both former presidents of the Newcomb Alumnae association. Ethelyn graduated from Newcomb College in 1941 and was president from 1964-1966. While at Newcomb Ethelyn was involved in Beta Phi Alpha, Hullabaloo, Spanish club, theatre, tennis, and archery. Carolyn Robbert Davis graduated from Newcomb College class of 1942 and was president of the Alumnae Association from 1968-1972. While at Newcomb, Carolyn was homecoming queen, President of Alpha Delta Pi, and involved in Newcomb Student Government Association, Alpha Sigma Sigma, Kappa Delta Phi, Assets, Cheerleading, Classical Club, Dance Club, Mathematics Club, Panhellenic Council, T.U.R.K. and Spanish Club.

Jill Jackson (the stage name of Alice Schwartz) is a New Orleans native and a Newcomb Graduate (class of 1933). She began her entertainment career in 1941, becoming a respected "feminine" sportscaster. Eventually, Jackson also became famous as a Hollywood correspondent. She met and interviewed many Hollywood celebrities, leading her to become a local celebrity in her own right. In this recording, Jill Jackson answers the Newcomb Oral History Project questions.

Gertrude Morris "Motsy" Middleton Harris (1930-1997) grew up in Hammond, Louisiana and graduated from Newcomb College with a major in psychology in 1951. While at Newcomb, Motsy was involved in Alpha Omicron Pi, the Assets, Who's Who, Glee Club, Newcomb Honor Board, La Tertulia, Pan Hellenic, Student Government Association, YWCA, Westminster Fellowship, Tulane Student Council, and Phi Beta Kappa. Motsy was the recipient of the 1909 Prize in 1952. After Newcomb, Motsy became the founding director and a teacher at The Little School of St. Martin's Episcopal Church. In this interview with Florence Bass, Motsy discusses her time at Newcomb, the application process, working at the Newcomb Nursury school, and her life after Newcomb.

Patricia Woodward Richardson (1919-2001), a native of New Orleans, graduated from Newcomb College in 1939. While at Newcomb College, Patricia participated in Glee Club, Hockey, Student Body Secretary, Pi Beta Phi, T.U.R.K., Alpha Sigma Sigma, Cotillion Club, Dance Club, Tulane Student Council, Executive Committee, Junior Class President, Tulane University Rooters Klub, Newcomb Student Council, and Basketball. She also served as the Student Body President and the Student Government Secretary of the Southern Intercollegiate Association. She was the first female graduate in Chemistry and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After graduation, Patricia was an active conservationist and horticulturist and went on to found the Ponchatoula Country Market in the 1970s. Patricia was the granddaughter of William Woodward. After Newcomb, Jane was involved with the Newcomb Alumnae Association, the Tulane Emeritus Club Board of Directors, the Orleans Club, Le Petit Salon, the New Orleans Country Club, the Ruth McEnery Stuart Clan, and Holy Name of Jesus and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Churches. Susan H. Gold Willard Schorin graduated from Newcomb College and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Tulane School of Social Work. While at Newcomb, Susan was a cheerleader, a member of ODK Leadership Conference, Honor Board, Angel Flight, Spirit Council, Greenbackers, La Tertulia, Student-Faculty Committee, Homecoming Committee, Lagniappes Commieett, Alpha Epsilon Phi, and was involved in student government including President of her senior class. After graduation, she moved to Boton, worked as a secretary, as a medical assistant, in the Social Relations department at Harvard, and a councelor at Wellesly. She completed a one year fellowship in child psychiatry at Tulane Medical School, and undertook specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders at St. George's Hospial Medical School at the University of London. In 1982, she joined the faculty of the departments of psychiatry and pediatrics at Tulane Medical School and opened an eating disorders clinic at Tulane Medical Center. She is the author of over 20 journal articles and a book 'When Dieting Becomes Dangerous: A Guide to Understanding and Treating Anorexia and Bulimia,' both published as "Susan G. Willard" and was featured in the NOVA documentary 'Dying ot be Thin' in 2002. Some of her honors include 1997 Newcomb College Alumna of the Year, a 2005 Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Eating Disorders Association, and a 2008 International Academy for Eating Disorder Outstanding Clinician Award. After Hurricane Katrina, Susan moved away from New Orleans and became a political activist in Northern Virginia. In this interview with Amanda Gordon, Susan discusses her time at Newcomb and her life since.

Adele Ramos Salzer (b.1950) graduated from Newcomb College in 1940 with a degree in Chemistry. After graduating, Salzer worked in hospital laboratories throughout New Orleans. Salzer married Kenneth W. Salzer and together they raised seven children. Salzer remained active in Newcomb College throughout her life, serving as Newcomb Class Agent for her graduating year, and coordinated the class of 1940's fifty year reunion in 1990. She was also an engaged member of the Newcomb Alumnae Association, and served as corresponding secretary from 1976-1978. In 1984, Salzer initiated the Newcomb College Oral History Project, which has gathered interviews with hundreds of Newcomb alumnae and notable speakers. The Oral History Project was established in honor of Salzer's mother, Frieda Beier Ramos. Salzer's continued engagement with the intellectual life of Newcomb led to the establishment of the Adele Ramos Salzer Lecture and Reading Series, which each year brings a speaker to campus to discuss a variety of topics related to gender. Adele Ramos Salzer is the mother of Adele Frieda Salzer (Newcomb College Class of 1974). Calista Anna Rault Schneidau (b. 1924) graduated from Newcomb in 1944. While at Newcomb she was involved in the Newcomb Assets, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Sigma Sigma, Theta Nu, the Greenbackers, Newcomb Student Government, the Glee Club, the Newcomb Athletic Council, the Pan-Hellenic Council, the Student Council, Jennie Nixon Debating, and the Lagniappes. Calista was the first Newcomb woman to be editor-in-chief of the Tulane Hullabaloo. After Newcomb, Calista worked as a correspondant and assistant editor for the Houston Chronicle and later trained as a psychotherapist and worked at the Texas Medical Center. She has been involved with the Catholic Chaplain Corps, Houston Jr. Forum, St. Anne's Guild, and the Newcomb Alumnae Association. In 1955 at the Republican National Convention, Calista had the honor of seconding the nomination of Dwight D. Eisenhower. In this interview with Sandy Schneidau Penoucos (Calista's daughter), Calista discusses her memories of Newcomb, her first job, and her life after Newcomb.
